12/28/2007 -- USCIS' website pamphlet for employers on use of E-Verify.
12/21/2007 -- Availability Remains on H-2B Cap for 2nd Half of FY 08. USCIS has updated the nonimmigrant visa cap count page on its website. The H-2B cap for the second half of fiscal year 2008 has reached 17,488 as of 12/17/07.
12/21/2007 -- DOS published a final rule on sanctions and terminations for Exchange Visitor Program sponsors. A previously issued final rule was withdrawn in late November.
July 2, 2007 -- USCIS announced this afternoon that, effective today, it is rejecting all employment-based adjustment of status applications where the priority date is not current under the revised visa bulletin. Read more here.
July 2, 2007 -- The Department of State announced this morning that effective Monday, July 2, 2007, there will be no further authorizations in response to request for Employment-based preference cases. Employment preference numbers will once again be available to these chargeability areas beginning October 1, 2007.
